I created a trust with the cert but it didn't fix my problem. Starting a ticket with Microsoft. This is insane.

TLS and SSL encrypt the segments of network connections above the Transport ... Since most protocols can be used either with or without TLS (or SSL).

I am having the exact same problem and I am trying your certificate solution, but it won't let me create the trust. It says "The Root Certificate that was just selected is invalid. This may be because the selected certificate requires a password and we do not support certificates that require a password. Please select another certificate."

I didn't create a password when I exported it, I just exported it and named it just like you did. Any ideas?

i am afraid it didnt work for me, i added 3 certificates i found in mmc, restarted iis and sharepoint but..., and i dont know how and where to see the logs...

Excellent find! I was just thinking about writing a PowerShell script to do it - I needed to update few hundred documents. Additionally it allows you to drag and drop emails from Outlook directly to SharePoint. Thanks

Great tip as always Sean. We have multiple people uploading many documents per week that come in via email and this will work as a quick way to see if say I wanted to quickly check the last 20 documents uploaded so that I don't have to check each document is in the library first.
